Decatur is a small city to the east of Atlanta Georgia, with lots to see and do. It?s particularly known for its great restaurants and quaint, pedestrian-friendly downtown. One advantage to living in Decatur is that there's no need to hop on the interstate to commute to jobs in Atlanta. Drivers can take either Ponce de Leon Avenue or Memorial Drive, both of which run west to Midtown and Downtown Atlanta offices.

Alternately, MARTA trains run from Downtown Decatur to Downtown Atlanta, making Decatur one of the few cities in the metro Atlanta region in which commuting by public transit is convenient.
