Boca Raton is a pretty city in Palm Beach County, Florida, where palm trees and beautiful landscaping feature prominently. The classic Boca Raton look is the Mediterranean Revival architecture of Addison Mizner, who designed several buildings here in the 1920s, including the famous five-star Boca Raton Resort and Club. The hotel is pink, and so are lots of Mizner-wannabe buildings around town.

Boca Raton has a reputation for affluence. It's a city of golf courses and posh, fashion-forward shopping destinations. But it's also home to the largest campus of Florida Atlantic University (FAU).
