The house is also less than 20 minutes from Key West. The large lower screened area is the perfect place to relax after a day on the water, sightseeing or just for more relaxing! Enjoy the seating area with a comfortable couch/chairs or hang out at the table for a meal or games. You'll find many things to keep you busy (if you want to be busy!) including ping pong, cornhole, spike ball and ladder golf. They can all be played right in the screened room. The fridge/freezer on the lower level will keep your beverages cold and handy. Outside, you can relax by the pool or wind down in the spa (it takes less than 10 minutes to heat up!) or hang out in the tiki hut and watch your favorite show! Check out the canal which is home to the neighborhood tarpon that are seen regularly and love to be fed! Many other species visit the canal and are fun to watch! Once you head up to the living level, you'll enter another large screened area set up for dining or just chilling. Inside, the open floor plan has two seating areas, a dining room table that seats 10 and the kitchen with an expansive island for extra seating. The dining area features lots of storage plus a wine fridge and ice maker. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make a gourmet meal or snacks for poolside. Additional appliances and serving pieces can be found on the end caps of the center island. Open up the tv console cabinet and find board games, trivia games, and cards plus books including Keys history, cookbooks and some paperbacks. The bedrooms include the master suite with lots of closet space and a view of the pool below, a bedroom with a king bed plus the third room with 2 full size beds. Both bathrooms are equipped with heat lamps to warm you up after showering. Other activities to check out include 'The Loop', as locals call it, which is just further down on Sugarloaf Blvd for safe walking/jogging/biking (no motorized vehicles allowed). If you check out 'The Loop', you will also come across the famous jumping bridge that is featured in a Florida Keys Bucket List book. If you enjoy watching the sun go down, you can walk a block back towards Highway 1 for a perfect view of the sunset. There's also a paved path that runs parallel to Sugarloaf Blvd for most of the way. If you are boating, it's just a 5-minute boat ride to either the Atlantic or the Gulf.
