You'll appreciate all the modern tech we installed: the G-Doorbell Cameras, the Sifely keyless front door lock, the three Nest Protect Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detectors, the Nest Thermostat, and the WiFi-enabled window A/C units. The rent includes $50 of electricity monthly [through Central Hudson], internet (not cable, although you can add that separately for an additional cost) [through Spectrum], salt pellets for the water softener [stocked in the basement, but you'll have to put them in as needed, usually about every 2 months], weekly garbage & recycling pick-up [through Waste Management], and weekly yard care (i.e. mowing). All other utilities (i.e. oil for heat, propane for the gas stove and generator, cable, and electricity over $50/mth) will be paid by the renter. [We'll maintain all the accounts, and fill all the tanks before your tenancy, then have you pay the bills to fill them during your stay. TO BE CLEAR: The house sleeps 6, but only has 2 actual bedrooms (the third bed is the pull-out sleeper sofa in the back den - great for guests!). The house will only be rented FULLY FURNISHED. This is non-negotiable. There is some storage available for renters in the basement, attic, and closets, but not for large furniture.
