Washington, DC. Initially planned as a suburban housing community in the 1870s, today Ledroit Park is known for its charming Victorian houses which are now part of the National Register of Historic Places. As a planned community, Ledroit Park features narrow tree lined streets and pleasant flower beds. Initially a gated community, today Ledroit is a part of the city and transportation on the Metro bus and by taxi is readily available.
