Your warm welcome to L'Ours Haus begins at the Greeting Table, on the main level, at the top of the stairs, where you'll find a thoughtful "Welcome" Basket brimming with treats for you and your furry companions. In the Welcome Book, you'll discover the ingredients the healthy dog treats, along with a number of brochures and local information, including updates on IMPORTANT information about Grand County fire restrictions. All this information is to help you make the most of your time in beautiful Grand County. Supporting local vendors is gratefully encouraged, and before departing, L'Ours Haus be sure to leave your mark in the Guestbook. As you step into L'Ours Haus, you'll be greeted by a host of comfortable features. In the main living area, the kitchen, is well-stocked with full set of newer cookware, colorful dishware and glassware sets, various gadgets, miscellaneous small appliances. The bedrooms are adorned with fresh linens and comfortable, rejuvenating mattresses. Each bedroom features a queen-size bed, complemented by a mix of antique and new dressers. The blackout drapes ensure a restful night's sleep, undisturbed by the beautiful moonlight. Wildlife-themed decor throughout the house adds a touch of rustic charm. For your convenience, there is a washer and dryer in the main bathroom. The great room also features a newer large area rug that compliments the massive piece of art on the wall between the main bathroom and kitchen. There is a gas fireplace enhancing a cozy ambiance. Every corner of the property has been thoughtfully revitalized with comfy furniture, new lamps, and artwork. New lighting, inside and solar lanterns outside, this property, ensures a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout your stay. There are so many outdoor opportunities (see below) but for your inside entertainment you'll discover a range of options to make your stay truly enjoyable. On chilly evenings, the cozy gas fireplace in the living room provides the perfect setting to unwind after a day of outdoor adventures. A selection of board games, books The door from the Livingroom invites you to step outside onto the deck to bask in the Sunlight, Moonlight or watch the wildlife wondering around or movements of the weather come in over the Rockies and Lake Granby. The more than 250 degree views are spectacular! Take your favorite beverage with you to just sit and relax, listen to the wildlife, meditate, or read. Basically at the bottom of our hill, you can enter Arapaoe National Forest for SNOW-mobiling, SNOW-shoeing, hiking, biking, 2-wheels, 4-wheels, wildlife viewing .. Just about 10 mins away Rocky Mountain National Park in open to drive in and through usually from May thru first SNOW.
