About the building

This charming, inviting, peaceful, bright and airy home wraps around a corner and couldn't have a more ideal location. First, it has a phenomenal relationship with the sun. If you are not an absolute fan of natural light then need not apply! The sunrise is first seen from the master bedroom window. Watching the sun rise in the breathtaking Napa Valley is the way to start a day. There is also generous first morning sun streaming into the comfortable dining area. And the kitchen corner window drenched in morning sun looks over another unobstructed view of the west side of the valley. The hanging chair on the front porch is another great way to get your morning dose of sunlight while enjoying a cup of coffee. And last but not least is the breezeway. In the morning hours, pretty much until 10 a.m., the morning light makes the breezeway a lovely place to have breakfast even in winter months or some coffee at the coffee bar. Sunrise Sanctuary is a uniquely shaped house, as it gently curves around the corner it sits on a large pie-shaped lot. You can see the many outdoor areas to enjoy, but the garden and the outdoor bathtub are the most unique extras. The house is located one block from the tennis courts and three blocks walking distance to downtown Calistoga. And very close is the trailhead to the Oat Hill Mine Road trail which is such a treat to have in our backyard (I included a picture from the trail). Lots of great living outdoors here. Indoors is very comfortable and cozy. It comes fully furnished with all the extras you would need, including new towels and bedding. There are houseplants strategically placed in every room chosen specifically for their ability to naturally clean the air. The master bath has been newly remodeled. New cherry bamboo kitchen and laundry room floor. There are beautiful, new shutters in the kitchen, dining room, and living room. The vaulted ceilings and the well laid out floor plan makes for "magical" living in this 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath home. It is a special place . The month to month rental price is $3700 per month. iThe tenant will be responsible for electric, trash, internet, cable and part of the water bill. Landscaping is included. I listed "small dogs" in the pet section but it must be a dog that is well trained. I have had problems with dog and cat damage to the furnishings and have had to throw out carpets and furniture between renters. The property is ideal for a dog and for a well behaved one it could be a match! This home is a month to month rental with a three month minimum. The furnished condition is not negotiable. If you have need for some storage of personal furnishings there is a one car garage with storage loft that can be used for this purpose. The house is on, in my opinion, the best residential street in Calistoga. Every year there is a block party with live band. The neighbors are long time residents and are on friendly terms and know each other's names...quite unusual these days! It is important for us to find a good tenant that will be respectful to and appreciate this lovely neighborhood (i.e. no heavy partiers, etc.).
