This is our home, not an investment property.… We are away for work obligations, are looking to have our expenses covered while we are gone, and much more than that, we are looking for the right fit: someone who will love this home the way we do. Tell us about your circumstances and we can work something out.
This is a classic Space Coast home. It is very comfortable and it has its charm, the kind that comes with a house that has been genuinely lived in and loved. It comes fully furnished and move-in ready, down to the fully stocked kitchen, linens, and washer and dryer. Just bring your suitcase.
Three bedrooms (4 beds), two bathrooms, and a backyard that is the reason people fall in love with the place: a private pool, a hot tub, and a large fully fenced yard with roughly 70 mature palms and tropical plants. It is so lush and private you forget you have neighbors. The oversized driveway fits a trailer, boat, or camper.
Ten minutes to historic Cocoa Beach. Five miles to Port Canaveral for easy Atlantic/port access. 15 mins to each Patrick Space Force Base or Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Forty-five minutes to Orlando/ MCO.
World-class beaches, fishing, surfing, wildlife watching, and a front-row seat to rocket launches, all from a quiet residential street on the Space Coast.
A few honest notes, because we would rather tell you now than surprise you later.
The AC keeps the house very comfortable, but on a hot, hot Florida day it may not pull below 74 in the peak sun. We lived here for years and were more than comfortable between the AC, the ceiling fans, and the pool. If it ever becomes a problem, we can work something out.
The pool is professionally cleaned weekly, with a new pump and a big new filter. But 70 palms means some leaves find their way in between cleanings. Scoop them yourself or swim around them. That is the price of the oasis, and we think it is a bargain.
We are very furr-friendly. Pets of all types are welcome with a $500 refundable deposit per pet, any species or size. Up to two pets; more than two considered case by case. Just let us know what you have so we can accommodate.
The backyard comes with two friendly laying hens (Private and Toasty) and a steady supply of the freshest eggs you will ever eat. They are nearly zero effort: automatic feeder, automatic waterer, secure coop. Your only job is collecting the eggs. If chickens are not your thing, a neighbor is happy to take care of them entirely. Never kept chickens before? They may end up being your favorite part of the house.
