Owner pays for utilities. Tenant must secure Garbage themselves if it is wanted. Or take trash off site. Solar included, water, electricity. Laundry room included with a Washer and Dryer. No smoking anywhere on our property. We live in the main house. One year lease required. However, we are open to a LONG term tenant, that will stay much longer than the initial year. We expect tenant to keep area around the Cottage neat and tidy. Pet's are open to discussion. Due to our Great Dane and Mastiff having free roam on our 4 acres, we do not allow small dogs in the Rental. They do well with larger dogs, but not with the smaller dogs under 40 lbs. Please give us as much information as possible on your pet when inquiring. Age, type, size, breed etc..

Expansive views to Taylor Mountain are a bonus.… A large covered deck to enjoy coffee as the sun rises will start your day off well. Or glass of wine in the evening to relax , while watching the multitude of birds in the barnyard. We have many variety of Fowl (chickens, ducks, geese, peacocks etc) that live in the barnyard and free range throughout the property. In particular the Peafowl do occasionally enjoy hanging on the Cottage Deck, so you must be amenable to that. The Cottage is bright and airy with a lovely window seat for snuggling with a book. Full bathroom with tub, double sinks and shower. The Kitchen is large with much cupboard and storage space. The center island and countertops are granite. A large walk in closet will accommodate your needs. The Cottage has a full laundry room which is shared with the guests in a separate nearby Studio unit. Gas heat and range. All utilities (except Garbage) are provided, as is parking. There is an entry gate onto the property. While only a mile from 101 it feels like you're living true country lifestyle. Quiet, peaceful with a butterfly garden right out the kitchen window. Garden space can be available if you want to grow your own veggies. Pets negotiable. We are mature, quiet couple in our 70's and enjoy sharing the peaceful beauty of our little hobby farm. We are looking for a quiet and respectful tenant who would ideally want to live here long term.
