**Currently rented available around mid-July. Prioritizing longer-term renters (6 months to a year-plus, ideally).** Make this little cottage your home base for exploring Bend and all its outdoor magic a calm place to rest and recharge at the end of every adventure. Cook a great meal in a fully stocked kitchen, fall asleep in a comfortable queen bed, and unwind on the patio with a hot tub, fire pit, and hammock. And your dog? Pure heaven in the huge fenced yard (I bet you can't throw a frisbee all the way across). **The space** A bright, private little cottage built for unwinding after a day out. It's compact but never cramped tall 10-foot ceilings make the whole place feel open and airy. Inside you'll find a gas fireplace, plenty of books and board games, and even a meditation pillow and yoga mat a perfect setup for a self-care evening, weekend, or longer. Out back is the real magic: a covered pergola with a hot tub, hammock, day bed, propane and gas fire pits, and two infrared heaters that take the chill off spring and fall evenings (they won't beat true winter cold, but they're lovely the rest of the year). Beyond the patio, more than half an acre of fenced yard ideal for dogs to roam and explore. The kitchen is fully stocked, from quality pots, pans, and knives to an Instant Pot and a Lazy Susan of essentials everything you need to settle in and cook like you're at home. The main bedroom is a good size with a comfortable queen bed, a closet, and a robust office workstation built right in. The second bedroom is smaller, with a full-size futon, a small desk, and no closet set up as a comfortable guest room, with the desk handy as a second work spot if you need one. For remote workers, the workspace in the main bedroom is the real deal, not an afterthought: fast, reliable Wi-Fi, a sit/stand desk, a comfortable office chair, a wireless charging mouse pad, a second monitor, a printer, and great lighting for video calls with the desk facing a window that looks out on trees, flowers, and shrubs. A few more touches: a 50-inch smart TV in the living room and a smaller one in the bedroom; Sonos speakers in the living room and on the patio that play in sync from the Sonos S1 app; and an Alexa in the bedroom that'll handle the lights or lull you to sleep with rainforest sounds. Just half a mile outside Bend's city limits in a quiet, safe neighborhood 10 minutes to downtown Bend, 5 to Tumalo, 20 to Sisters, and 20 to Redmond. **Perfect for long stays - Washer and dryer - Fully stocked kitchen with quality pans and knives - Super comfortable queen bed - Excellent office setup (fast, reliable Wi-Fi, second monitor, comfortable chair, printer, and a desk that faces a garden window) - Portable AC and fans on hand for the occasional hot stretch **Guest access** Everything inside the gates is yours the house, the patio, and more than half an acre of fenced yard. You'll use the driveway from the house to the road, and you're welcome to park in front of the garage door; just leave the right side of the driveway clear so it stays accessible. Garage access is shared. (The right side of the house beyond the concrete pad isn't part of the rental but with everything inside the gates, you've got the run of the place.) **Other things to note** I keep a small travel trailer in the back corner of the property, just outside your fenced yard. When I'm in town, I like to be able to stay there now and then you might hear me come and go, but you probably won't see me, and everything inside your gates stays completely private either way. I'll also get into the garage occasionally (it shares a wall with the house, but its entrances are outside your fenced area). **Hot tub You'll be responsible for keeping the water clean. I can provide the chemicals and walk you through it, or we can arrange a service for an extra cost. **Cooling There's a portable AC unit in the main living area and fans in the bedrooms. Bend nights usually cool off nicely, so I only run the AC a week or so a year but if it's going to be hot during your stay, I'll have it set up and ready. **Yard Renters handle mowing (lawnmower provided) and basic upkeep, like keeping things watered.
