AC & Heating Split Unit FULL Kitchen with a Gas Stove and Full Sized Refrigerator Private Off Street Parking Furnished or Unfurnished If renting Furnished, the studio comes complete with linen, towels, dishes, stainless steel pots and pans - Bring your clothes and food and move in :-) Pets that are fixed are considered if renting unfurnished and with a year lease. When I decided to rent the studio I promised my neighbors, who are more like family friends, that I would be sure all renters honor the following; * All renters and their guests abide by the city ordinances, including noise ordinances so all can benefit from a quiet and peacefull neighborhood. * All renters and their guests are respectful to the other renters and to the neighbors If you appreciate a quiet home in a friendly neighborhood then this could be a great fit for you. The property where the studio is located is on a double lot and has three separate homes on the property; The main house 1535 SE Mill St. was built in 1890 (residents enter the property from Mill St.) The other two dwellings (tenants have private parking and entry from the alley) The cottage 1527 SE Mill St. was formerly the carriage house for the main house This studio 1539 SE Mill St. is a stand alone dwelling directly behind the main house The current tenant in the 3 bedroom/2 bathroom main house has given notice and the house is available to rent ($2050 + utilities) first week in June (listed on Zillow). A dear sweet long time friend lives in the cottage with her young adult granddaughter and their an older little dog. There is plenty of room for each resident on this property. So as to honor our property and community: * All renters are non-smokers and renters will need to make sure anyone who comes to visit does not smoke anywhere on the property. * Only those on the lease can stay overnight, unless by written permission. We are looking for someone who'd fit in really well with our neighbors and long term cottage renters. Everyone benefits from the autonomy and respect that is shared with each other. The stand alone studio has an open layout with a 10ft. ceiling and big windows that add to the feeling of spaciousness even though the studio is only 525 sq. ft, it feels bigger! It is our highest goal to provide a warm and welcoming home environment for you. The process for renting includes a prescreening video chat with me (the owner) to discuss your qualifications and your questions about the studio. Qualifications include monthly NET income that is at least twice the amount of rent and utilities, great rental and work history, and those who have a clear criminal background for the last 10 years. Utilities are divided among the dwellings. If you qualify to apply, a tour can be scheduled. FYI - If you are looking to rent furnished, please note that the furniture in the photos may be different as we have moved some from one dwelling to the next to accomodate the tenants.
