THE HOME The original 1830 heart of pine beams run across the living room ceiling. White oak floors, teak, warm brass, limewash walls, and tadelakt (Moroccan plaster) bathroom - soft, muted, all-matte. The furniture was designed specifically for this home and hand-built by artisans in Bali, complemented by intricately carved teak doors. WHAT AWAITS YOU Every element has been chosen to create a sense of quiet comfort: organic percale 100% cotton bedding, refined bath amenities, a chef's kitchen with a professional-grade gas range, whole-home water filtration to every tap and shower, and heated bathroom floors in cooler months. The home is feather-free, with fragrance- and dye-free soaps and detergents throughout. OUTSIDE A large covered front porch and a rear deck, both with seating and made for lingering. Step outside and you'll find yourself surrounded by gardens. In the warmer months, you'll find gardenias, roses, lilac, blueberries, blackberries, grapes, passionfruit, fresh herbs, and seasonal vegetables - all yours to enjoy. Enjoy coffee on the porch in the morning and a glass of wine on the deck in the evening. A FEW THINGS FIRST This home is best suited for one professional seeking a quiet, exceptionally well-maintained place to call home during their 1-3 month stay in Wilmington. - This is a shoe-free home. To preserve the white oak floors, we ask all guests to remove shoes at the door. - Biweekly professional cleaning is included in your rent and required as part of every stay. A checkout cleaning fee also applies. - The rental includes the private main floor (one bedroom, one bathroom). The upstairs is unoccupied, separate, locked, and not part of the rental. - Exterior cameras monitor the property entrances. Security system available. - Street parking is available directly outside the home and is generally open. - All utilities included: electricity, water, WiFi, and Roku for streaming. In-unit washer and dryer. Keypad entry, no keys. NOTE: Small accent details such as pillows, plants, and decorative objects will vary from the photos.
