The Waldo Apartments, named after Ralph Waldo Emerson, first opened in 1893. Although we've updated the inside, many special historic features remain.… The wrought-iron and brass elevator is the oldest operating elevator in the city of Cincinnati. The magnificent woodwork, stonework and marble remain.
