The first month's rent and any required security deposit are due upon signing of this Lease Agreement. Late Fees If rent is not received within five (5) days of the due date, the Tenant agrees to pay a late fee of $50.00, which shall be considered additional rent. Lease Term This is a monthly furnished room rental. The lease shall begin on the move-in date specified in the Lease Agreement. Any move-out date, notice requirements, or renewal terms will be specified in the Lease Agreement. Occupancy is limited to one (1) person per room, unless otherwise approved in writing. Maintenance, Use & Care The Tenant agrees to: Maintain their room and shared areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition Avoid creating safety or health hazards Not damage furniture, fixtures, or property Comply with all applicable building, housing, health, and safety codes Follow all house rules, including quiet hours and shared-space etiquette Damage to Furnishings Any damage to furnished items beyond normal wear and tear may be deducted from the security deposit or billed to the Tenant as permitted by NJ law. Shorter Mid-Term Lease Option (Traveling Professionals) For travel nurses and traveling professionals, shorter mid-term furnished leases of at least one (1) month minimum are available, subject to availability and approval. Lease start and end dates will be clearly stated in the Lease Agreement. Rent for shorter mid term stays may vary based on length of stay and room type.
