Lease terms
A one-year lease is required to move in, then will shift to month-to-month after, should both tenant and landlord wish to continue the tenancy, with terms the same as original lease agreement, including rent (for at least one year). Tenant must provide financial documentation of ability to afford rent, and agree to a credit check. The 1,000. security deposit is fully refundable if the tenant leave the premises in the same extremely clean conditions as it was upon signing the lease, minus normal wear and tear....like scuffs on the wall paint, holes from hanging art. No smoking, and no pets. Tenant is responsible for their accounts with Kit Carson Electric (electricity), New Mexico Gas Co. (gas), and any cable or internet provider of their choice, but none that require a dish on the roof, which the condo HOA prohibits.

This lovely spacious 2 bedroom / 2 bath UNFURNISHED condo is part of a small one-storied complex in the middle of town (of Taos).… Very close + walk-able to markets, bus lines, shopping, banks, restaurants and medical providers. The kitchen is huge, with miles of counter space and like-new cabinets and appliances (gas stove is great!). The kitchen is open to the large living room with it's wood-burning fireplace. It also has a pair of large French entry doors to the patio. All of the walls are painted a clean white that is not too bright or too warm.
New Navien hot water heater providing comfy radiant floor heat...ideal for Taos winters. The living room window faces South, meaning passive solar warmth when needed as well. Ceiling fans really help to cool things down.
Both bedrooms have their own, separate bathrooms, on either side of the living room, one with a tub/shower and the other with a shower. Spacious closets, too. The larger primary bedroom has a door out to the graveled patio.
Washer / dryer in a separate hall way with additional large storage closet.
Off-street parking just outside your door, and a bonus 8 x 10 private and secure storage unit on the premises.
Owner lives in Taos and Santa Fe and has a maintenance person on call.
