The 4,000 sq ft house has a gorgeous big kitchen with a gas stove (a real cook's kitchen), spacious living and atrium dining rooms (all furnished), and a large 2nd-floor deck as well as an even larger deck and patio in the back. The house is shared by 4 other people who all are very responsible for keeping the common spaces clean. You should be too.
This house is on a very quiet dead-end street where you are steps from Ravenna/Cowen Park and tennis courts as well as the new Ravenna light rail 45 and 73 buses. The Ave, Whole Foods, UW, U-Village, Burke Gilman, Green Lake, and more are all close by. But your peaceful sanctuary is away from the noise.
This is not your usual University Districth student dive rental or super overpriced tiny apartment. All utilities are INCLUDED in rent. The fine print: one year agreement preferred (first, last month's rent and security deposit); no pets on the property (owned or visiting); no smoking/vaping/fire/smoke of any kind anywhere on property indoors or out; must have your own renter's insurance; PhD-owner and dog share house.
