We are looking for two housemates to share our comfortable home. The bedrooms both come with a full-sized closet (additional storage space in other parts of the house). You would share one full and one half sized bathroom with two other housemates. (The pictures are not current but give you an idea of the house my lack of photography/Photoshop skills are quite evident in my attempts to take pictures of the house . The furnishings are not there.) The house is on a quiet street just slightly off of Mission, which means transit is super easy: Muni lines 14, 14R, 49, J, and BART are all steps away. We are minutes away from 101 and 280 if you drive. There is bike storage available in the garage if you bike. There is an Electrify America charging station nearby. Multiple grocery stores (many with parking lots) are walking distance away as well. There is in-house laundry, or you may opt to use the close by laundromats to get all your laundry done in a flash, and the dry cleaner is a block away. You can easily stroll to Cortland, where all the cool shops are, as well as five different parks/green spaces. We are close to lots of good eats, cafes, Mitchell's ice cream (!), and the original San Francisco farmer's market at Alemany. Shared common areas besides the bathrooms and laundry include the living room, the kitchen, the covered porch, and the westerlyish-facing backyard. Sunsets on the covered porch are pretty awesome here.... Street parking in this area is fairly easy and requires no permit, though you will have to deal with street cleaning schedules. Utilities are shared by all housemates, even if you think you don't use it. The utilities currently include electricity, gas, water, garbage, Sling, Sonic fiber, and a regular house cleaner who generally comes every other week to clean the common areas. There is no smoking of anything in the house or the backyard (unless you are talking about hickory smoked ribs). The two senior dogs that lived here sadly have passed, but as the heart heals, surely there will be more dogs to claim residence here. There is currently an adorable Siamese who keeps rodents at bay and loves to talk and play. Additional pets possible, depending in part on how the pet gets along with the current resident cat. The cat is friendly with humans and dogs (might need warm up time), not immediately with other cats. More about the current housemates: 1. Me (housemate/landlord) I have been a housemate for a long time, so I am very attuned to privacy and am respectful of my housemates. I am also quick to fix everything, since I know I would hate it if I had an unresponsive landlord.... I work M-F mostly outside of the house. I enjoy cooking but don't really have time for it. I work out regularly and enjoy going to the movies and a good cocktail. The cat thinks he should be the center of attention at all times that he is awake. I have my own bathroom, so I will not be competing for bathroom time with you. 2. AR AR works in biotechnology and sometimes works from home. AR also enjoys cooking and geeky things.... We are hoping to find chill housemates who respect boundaries and will groove with our individual personalities gender and other background info do not matter, it's the fit that counts. If you think you could be the right housemate, please send me proof that you are a real person this is Craigslist, so I must worry about scams. I will send you additional information regarding the application process. Please note that just sending me a social media link is not going to be good enough. Anybody can just go online and steal that from someone. There is no charge for applying, but if it looks like you are the right fit, you will need to pay a small fee for a credit history and background check before signing the lease. After we get the application materials, we can schedule a viewing of the house, most likely through a video call to begin with. The rent, without utilities, is $1150/month for either room.
