This posting is for the finished basement (1 bedroom, 1 semi-private bathroom, a semi-private living area, shared storage spaces/potential WFH space). This single-family home is located on a one-way street within a 4 minute walk of bus route 50. There are 5 rooms, 2.5 bathrooms, including a finished basement. One of the rooms is owner-occupied, and another room is for guests. Of the remaining 3 rooms, two are intended for renters, and the other for storage/office space. The rooms may be painted to feel more like yours. There is a gravel parking space in the back that fits two cars. If all 3 occupants of this house own a car, we may need to get creative with parking and ensure constant communication of plans, in case cars need to be juggled. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas oven, microwave, rice cooker, electric kettle, and toaster oven/air fryer. The shared washer/dryer units are located in the patio area. Each floor of the house is equipped with a Nest device to control the temperature (heat only; there is no central A/C). Water, gas, and electric bills will be split among tenants. WiFi covered by the owner. Pets can be discussed on a case-by-case basis. Looking for a kind, respectful roommate who is a non-smoker to share this space with. About the owner: I'm a 31yo femme/gender-questioning healthcare professional. I enjoy reading webtoons, dancing salsa, going to musicals, and exploring new things. I can be a little messy and forget to pick up after myself, but I generally keep shared spaces tidy, and I enjoy having things clean (shoe-free house!). I'm a new homeowner, previously having rented in shared living spaces for 10y. I'm looking to create a friendly, respectful living environment, and bonus if we share the occasional meal or social activity together. I do not personally have pets, but I grew up with dogs and love petting cats.
