Perfect for the minimalist.See below for details on room.… Location could not be better for this classic American Foursqaure 6 BR 2 BA home in the heart of the Hawthorne neighborhood full of the wonderful coffee shops, breweries, restaurants and shops that Portland is known for. The home has recently been remodeled. It has a fireplace as well as a wood burning stove. The kitchen has an island with an over hanging pot rack. There is a fire pit in the back yard surrounded by 2 beautiful, large mature trees. A washer and dryer are in house. There are 2 full bathrooms that are shared so one is always available and usage is never a problem because of varied schedules. High speed cable WiFi is available. Utilities are split/shared and can average a range from $50 a month in the summer to $120 a month in the winter. There is storage for bikes on back porch. Housemates currently are made up of 5 females with average age range late 20's - late 30's. Occupations include therapist, nurse, nonprofit, Environmental, nanny. We have a low drama, respectful, harmonious environment where everyone cleans up after themselves. Although the number of housemates, due to varied schedules there are often times when it feels like you are the only one at home. We are looking for a housemate who is financially responsible, respectful, clean, emotionally mature, reasonably quiet (Quiet hours are from 10pm to 9am), friendly, low drama, low maintenance. Not looking for narcissistic, confrontative, manipulative, passive aggressive types. Email with a little info about yourself and a social media link. We do a background/credit check. Although we do have scheduled get togethers/gatherings it is NOT a party house and we like to keep it clean. Available is a small 9x8 basement room with a 4x3.5 closet area. Perfect for the minimalist and stays cool on hot summer days. The room has a Southern facing window that allows a surprising amount of sunlight in. The room is fully furnished with a bed, dresser, desk, chair, and lamp. Month to month with 30 day move out notice.
