Petworth is a residential neighborhood in the northwest quadrant of
Washington, DC. The houses found in the neighborhood consist of mainly single-family homes and a variety of townhouses. The neighborhood is serviced by the Georgia Ave-Petworth Metro Station which has the a stop for the Yellow and Green Metro Lines. The neighborhood is marked primarily by the long rows of brick row houses that dominate most of the neighborhood.
