This furnished property offers a slower, more old fashioned way of life, where vegetables are organically grown and preserved, fresh eggs are gathered, hay is cut and baled, and fruit trees bloom, yet it's only a very easy 8 minute drive to the Square/Campus. There are various buildings and outbuildings on the place including a furniture design/build studio, and the main structure, a large red roofed barn which contains a very private, clean, and architecturally interesting loft with a wonderful windowed porch that overlooks the entire farm. The loft is furnished and also contains all the modern conveniences, including available lightning fast (NE SPARC) fiber internet service. Central air conditioning keeps you warm in Winter and cool in Summer. Washer/Dryer. You will be offered complimentary organic vegetables and free range eggs in season. For many years, the loft has been used as a Bed and Breakfast and a favorite hideaway for many visitors, alumni, and friends of Oxford and Ole Miss and to lots of wayward travelers. We truly enjoyed being innkeepers and met lots of really nice people, but due to the labor intensive nature of running a bed and breakfast, we decided to close it the end of 2018 and simply began renting the space to folks on regular lease terms. I have included several photos of the farm, etc. to represent the general feel of the place. Enjoy the calm nature of the landscape, but also have complete privacy, as the loft has its own completely separate exterior private entrance. We are looking for a quiet, courteous, well mannered tenant who would appreciate a peaceful, calm, and private space. We would prefer a single tenant, but will consider a couple.
