$1450 Sunny Bedroom with Private Half Bath and furnished living room Sort of a cross between typical roommate situation and your own apartment Sunny… 10.5 by 11 foot bedroom, with private half bath, and a 12 by 15 foot living room (comes with a comfortable reclining couch, small table and chairs and a large shelf unit and a small frig and microwave); in a very nice, centrally located, North Oakland Temescal home right off Shattuck. The rooms are in very good condition and there is wool carpet in the entry and your living room and new carpet in the bedroom You get two rooms. One is a bedroom that comes with a private half bath (sink and toilet) and the other is a larger room that is your living room . It is a room that we walk through, so there is not total privacy there. You also have to walk through our living room to your shower so we all need to feel comfortable with each other. There is another full bath upstairs, where you would bathe or shower, (we have our own full bathroom downstairs where our bedroom is.) We are a baby boomer couple, one of whom is a self-employed craftsperson/musician/homeowner and the other is a human service educator/creative arts dabbler. We seek a responsible, progressive man or woman with a sense of humor and good people skills. We are friendly and creative. This is an ideal space for a person who is focused on studies or the like and doesn't require a dinner party kind of space. We are seeking someone who is independent but likes to communicate with their housemates, can share household tasks and perhaps the occasional meal. It works best with someone who has a day job and kind of regular hours. We are not late night people. You have use of the kitchen but the storage there is limited hence the shelves and mini frig and microwave in your living room. We have a sweet wacky cat so you would need to be cat friendly. Available now Nice kitchen, laundry. Close to bus and McArthur BART. Walk to Temescal restaurants! Walk to Whole Foods, Temescal Library and Farmers Market Share cost of utilities DSL(strong wireless from Sonic through ATT) and YouTube TV (at this time) is included Please have decent credit (and bring up to date credit report) and references and plan to stay for at least one year. No smoking in or around house Street Parking
