Access from the street is down the driveway, through a gate, across shared deck, no steps. Lovely morning light. Sit on the deck opposite lemon and fig trees, pineapple sage, princess tree, bamboo.
The studio has what you need for a short-to-long stay, including furniture, bedding and towels, use of washer-dryer and a functional kitchenette for simple cooking. Kitchen counter has microwave, sink, electric kettle, and a two-burner electric hot plate. Under-counter refrigerator. Dishes, cutlery, utensils. The shower is luxurious with on-demand hot water and good pressure.
Neighborhood is highly walkable, diverse, trendy. Walk to Burma Superstar on Telegraph Ave. Check out Cholita Linda and La Calaca Loca, the Temescal farmers market on Sundays, Betty's Bakery, the heated, outdoor Temescal Pool on 45th Street, Peet's, Whole Foods. Nearby alley includes barber shop, cafe, an ice creamery open into the night. Rockridge and MacArthur BART stations and College Avenue shops/eateries are a 20-minute walk away
