There are hardwood floors in the main living quarters, and high quality bamboo and laminate floor in the bedrooms. The kitchen is cute with a lot of natural light, all appliances and a gas stove. There is a recently replaced stackable washer and dryer in the unit.The backyard is large, has a patio and a deck and room for building gardening beds or chicken coops. The outdoor spaces are shared with the neighbors downstairs, and are good for gatherings and small celebrations The space is well appointed, allowing for a lot of privacy if you are sharing the unit with others. Lots of natural light and the Victorian design allows for passive solar temperature control. The whole unit is over 1300 square feet and is both inviting and warm as well as visually pleasing. Perfect for a couple, a family, or a roommate arrangement. Pets are welcome upon review. This is a no-smoking unit, though responsible tenants may smoke on the decks and in the yard.
10 minute walk to the largest bart station in the east bay, West Oakland Bart, easy commute to SF and other parts of Oakland at the closest exit to the bridge. Some cafes & small groceries are walkable. Close to Emeryville and downtown.
