A few options are Morganton Point Recreation Area (9 miles), Blue Ridge Lake (10 miles), Fall Branch Falls (24 miles), and Chattahoochee National Forest (32 miles). For the very brave, the area offers white water rafting, tubing, kayaking, and stand-up paddling on the Toccoa River below the Lake Blue Ridge Dam.
