WHAT: 1 bedroom house. This house feels like you're in a beach cottage. There are tall ceilings and lots of windows to let in light from all sides. The ceilings are 10' tall and the kitchen and living room are open. There's a large counter top that can be used for eating or project work. This house was built in 2012 and feels new. There's a large walk in closet off of the bedroom. There is a screened in porch that is a great private almost outdoor space without bugs. The carport lets you get in and out of the house with out worrying about the snow or rain. There is a washer and dryer provided so you don't have to run to the laundromat. All luxury vinyl tile wood look flooring throughout. There are 2 pocket doors and transom windows. This is a space that is perfect for 1-2 people.
HOW: We schedule appointments with applicants who have completed an application (see below) and meet the income and work history and other requirements. The property is located near downtown Mattoon in 2500 block of Charleston Ave.
