Magnolia Arms

The Magnolia Arms is a well-preserved historic apartment building across the street from magnificent Tower Grove Park. One-bedroom apartments consist of either three or four rooms. Two-bedroom apartments have five rooms.Each apartment has a dressing room, which can hold a small desk or chest. Included in the rental price is a gas range, frost-free refrigerator, energy efficient window-unit air conditioning, trash, recycling, water, sewer, heat, and all gas utilities. Residents pay their own electric and internet. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment or anywhere on the premises. A large laundry room is in the basement. You are welcome to store your locked bicycle at your own risk in the laundry room (make sure the laundry room is locked, and it should be fine). For an additional fee, parking is available at the back of the building. You may not need a car to live here. The location is in the Shaw Neighborhood, with the world-renowned Missouri Botanical Garden a short walk away. The Magnolia Arms is on Tower Grove Park, a Victorian treasure designated as a National Historic Landmark. Every Saturday from May through October there are dozens of vendors at the Tower Grove Farmers Market, a two-block walk from here. Enjoy many restaurants, coffee houses, and delightful shopping nearby. If you don't have renters' insurance, you must carry SF Shannon's "Tenant Liability Insurance" for a nominal fee each month.
