We want our home to be a comfortable, peaceful sanctuary for everyone who lives here. To keep things running smoothly, we ask that all housemates agree to the following: The Vibe: We treat our home as a relaxing retreat. We are not a party house, so we ask for no parties, no large gatherings, and no loud music. Since we work from home during the week, we also maintain general quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Cleanliness: A tidy house is a happy house! We ask that everyone cleans up after themselves in the shared spaces (kitchen, living room, bathrooms) immediately after use so they are always ready and welcoming for the next person. Guest Policy: We want you to feel at home, but because we share the space, we ask that you get permission before having overnight guests. To keep utility and shared-space usage fair for everyone, approved overnight guests are subject to a $40/night fee. Pets: We are open to welcoming a cat or a small dog! Since my dog Lizzy already lives here, we will just need to do a quick, casual meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure the pets get along peacefully. Please note there is an additional pet rent of $50 per month. Smoking: For everyone's health and comfort, the property is strictly smoke-free and drug-free (both inside and out). Lease & Utilities: We are ideally looking for a 12-month lease, though shorter terms (6-month or month-to-month) can be accommodated at a different monthly rate. Utilities (water, trash, electricity, internet) are a predictable flat fee of $150 per month. A security deposit equal to one month's rent is required at signing.
