Cozy private bedroom available in my beautiful hilltop home perched high up in the sleepy hills of Mt.… Washington just above Highland Park, (Northeast LA). It's a nature's sanctuary surrounded by trees, wildlife and gorgeous sunrises. 10 min drive to amazing restaurants/bars, grocery stores, parks, public transpo. Mt. Washington is one of Northeast LA's hidden gems, a historic hillside neighborhood with winding roads and a serene, rustic feel. Think a mini Topanga Canyon meets the Italian countryside : ) The home is a two story, 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath house. Shared spaces are on the first floor, all bedrooms are on the upper floor. You'd be sharing a full bathroom with one other housemate. The house has all the things: Full kitchen with commercial-grade stove Fireplace Deck Washer & dryer Central air Smart TV Gas BBQ High-speed internet Keyless entry Furnished common areas Unfurnished bedroom (can be furnished if needed). It's 11 x 12' with vaulted wood beam ceilings and a walk in closet with built in drawers. About Me: Early rising, LA native with Mexican roots, GenXer and small business owner who works from home primarily. Into health, wellness and foods of all kinds. I work a ton but also pretty social. I've put a lot of love into creating a warm, welcoming home and am looking for great people to share it with. About the Other Housemate: A new housemate is also moving in August 1. A 25-year-old recent Howard University graduate pursuing her career in film editing here in LA. About You: Kind, clean and mindful. You have a full life and generally bring good vibes home. Most importantly, you are respectful of shared spaces, take initiative, and communicate openly and directly. Ideally, you don't work from home full-time and are looking for a peaceful place with some community. The home centers around cleanliness, open communication and house guidelines. Everyone pitches in to keep our shared spaces pristine and we have a housekeeper come once a month for deeper cleaning. Otherwise the vibe is pretty relaxed, with occasional dinner parties, movie/game night, BBQ. Details Rent: $1,450/month Security Deposit: $1,450 Utilities + Wi-Fi: approximately $100/month Housekeeper: $73/month Street parking (always available) No large vehicles. Our street is narrow so large SUVs or big trucks will not work. No pets No smoking Available as of August 1 Listing will remain up until the room is rented.
