Hi potential housemate - we are looking for someone to rent a room in our beautiful apartment.… It is a 1,700 square feet townhouse style/duplex unit located in Echo Park (Elysian Hills), Los Angeles.
The room itself is on the second floor of the apartment and is spacious with sliding mirrored doors that open to a roomy closet. The room gets a lot of light but doesn't heat up too much on sunny days because of it's northern position in the apartment. There is a split AC unit in the room that heats, cools and dehumidifies. Across the hall is a sizable shared bathroom with a shower/bathtub, window and a brand new vanity with cabinets. A linen closet is also located in the second floor hall that has plenty of space for storage.
The first floor of the apartment is an open layout that includes a large kitchen (fully equipped with fridge, stove, dishwasher and ample cabinet/counter space), dining area, living room area, balcony and a half bathroom.
The ground floor consists of the garage that contains a washer and dryer and a massive amount of storage space. The garage could be used for a single car to park in, if desired, but there is an abundance of street parking with no street sweeping.
Housemate details
Two women, 30s. Safe, clean & vibey household. Works 9-5 hours designing & death doula work mostly from home. Occasional dinner party/witchy event depending on mood/needs. All can be addressed w kindness, emotional responsibility & direct communication!
