Welcome to the Black Lake House, your modern lakefront escape on Smith Lake in Logan, Alabama. This stylish 4-bedroom, 3-bath retreat was designed for families and friends to relax, reconnect, and play. The Space: You will receive an email a day prior to your checkin with checkin instructions. Kitchen & Dining: Modern, fully stocked kitchen ready for family meals stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, and seating for everyone at the farmhouse-style table with lake views. Entertainment: Smart TVs throughout Game room with pool table, arcade machine Loft stocked with family board games Outdoor lounging, water activities & fire pit Sleeping Arrangements: Primary Suite (Main Level): King bed, ensuite bath, soaking tub + walk-in shower 2nd Primary (Upstairs): King bed, Roku TV (use white controllers for power/volume) Guest Room Lake view: King bed Guest Room Hill view: Queen Bed Game Room:Twin-over-full bunk + trundle Outdoor Living: Step outside to multiple decks, shaded seating, and your private dock complete with floats, beach towels, and life jackets (stored near dock and corral). Watch the sunset, grill out, or simply enjoy the peace of the water. Guest Access: Guests enjoy full access to the home and outdoor spaces. (White wardrobe cabinets in the first primary suite are reserved for owners.) Interaction with Guests: We are available for our guests everyday from 8am-10pm. The Neighborhood: Directions to the home: Take EXIT 305 Co Road 222 turning left at exit. Keeping straight for @ 14 miles going into Crane Hill. Take slight right onto Co Rd 946. When you see a church on right turn at next road to LEFT Co Rd 963 then another quick Left onto Co Rd 961. Keep going straight following road you will even see sign with arrow to 'LAKE' slight left...Staying on 961, A few miles down on the right you will see a totem pole with names and a small black sign for Black House on the Lake Turn Right onto Mimosa lane/Co Rd 210 Keep straight and At bottom of hill, when you start seeing the lake turn sharp right onto CO RD 4003...you will see our gate and signage. Black Lake house is last house on left before culdesac. Park on road in front of house and walk down stairs, making sure to hold onto the handrail as these are steep stairs. Go around to the front of the house, double patio doors to unlock door with door code, unlock front door from inside. Getting Around: Nearby Attractions & Activities: Smith Lake Park 15 minutes A family-friendly spot with a swimming beach, boat ramps, picnic areas, and playgrounds. Great for a day of lakeside fun or a morning walk. Trident Marina 20 minutes Rent boats, grab a bite at The Grille at Trident Marina, and enjoy live music by the water on weekends. Smith Lake Dam & Visitor Center 25 minutes A must-see for first-time visitors! The dam area offers gorgeous overlooks, photo spots, and a peek at the lake's engineering marvel. The driveway is steep we strongly recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles, especially in wet weather. Guests assume responsibility for navigating the driveway safely. Please take your time when arriving and departing.
