Big Pond and Little Pond are nearby as well as the Beaverkill Trout hatchery which is a 5 min walk around the corner. There is also a public fishing pond at the Hatchery which is open on weekends- guaranteed fun for all ages! Or you can literally ask for some fresh trout for dinner on your way to Lake Alder for a swim, and they will be caught and prepared for you by the time you head home to enjoy a wood burning sauna overlooking the vegetable garden before dinner.
