No smoking of any kind anywhere inside the house, garage, or near windows.
Smart smoke detectors are installed

Smoking or tampering with detectors will result in fines up to $2,500 and immediate removal

Noise Monitoring Devices Installed (Devices do not record audio)
Sustained noise over 90 dB for 5+ minutes triggers an immediate alert to guests. This typically happens only with loud music, parties, shouting/screaming, or similar high-volume activities.
Repeated violations and disturbances after notification may result in reservation cancellation and removal
Normal conversation & TV volume, casual music, cooking, laughing, etc., will not trigger anything. Just be mindful of neighbors, and you'll be completely fine.

LOCATION CONSIDERATIONS
Our home is conveniently located near major roads, so light traffic noise may occur. In addition, due to the proximity to nature and variability of Houston's weather conditions, you might witness bugs, rodents, or small wildlife despite our proactive pest-control efforts. We take preventative measures promptly, but we cannot fully stop or control nature. We will certainly do our best to help fix the issue as time permits. Though we do not issue any sort of refunds in these cases, if any guests witness them during their stay.
Getting around is easy! The home offers quick access to Beltway 8, Highway 249, and I-45, making it convenient to reach Downtown Houston, The Galleria, the Energy Corridor, and major attractions. Free driveway parking is available, and rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are readily available. Grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping are just minutes away.
SECURITY DEPOSIT or DAMAGE WAIVER (REQUIRED)
Guests are required to select one of the following options after booking via the secured Guest Hut portal:
- $29 per night nonrefundable damage waiver (capped per stay), or
- $750 refundable security deposit
This is a required step for all reservations before check-in, and we'll collect it externally through a secure guest portal.
