But hall also connects to an attached workshop/laundry/storage space shared infrequently by owners (former small one car garage), and living room open by sliding glass door to large covered private patio overlooking grassy slope/wooded lot with western/southwestern views of sunsets and late day winter sunshine that streams into the unit. (photos are from various years - including 1970's in front of the fire - newer photos are ones showing all of the possessions which will not be in the unit. ___________Living room with sliding glass door, kitchen area, bathroom and bedroom are shown. single car garage/workshop space where laundry and water heater and storage area is not shown.)
_____________________________________The house is in a "semi-developed" mountain lots neighborhood/un incorporated subdivision - you have some neighbors just not too many. The home is a short 8-10 min. drive to Pisgah Forest entrance (and on up onto the Blue Ridge Parkway) Walmart, Lowe's and the shopping/restaurants, Aldi/Ingles/Food Lion of Brevard, as well as groceries/shopping/restaurants in Etowah, shops/restaurants/breweries, pubs, ice cream, etc. in Mills River, and only 25 min. drive to the Asheville Airport/Arden/Fletcher area of south Asheville and also to downtown Hendersonville, and Flat Rock and just a little further to Biltmore Park. Drive 15 miles/22 min. and catch a jet at AVL and connect to anywhere in the World! __ _____________And it's only about 45 minutes to all the culture and events in Asheville.

The separate lower level consists of open kitchen/living room combo, small hallway to separate bedroom, and full bath with a shower. The home includes a covered patio accessed via sliding glass doors from the living room, a private asphalt/gravel driveway and parking area, sloped grassy yard and wooded lot, and an attached (former one car-) garage/workshop - not for a car - that offers compact but handy crafting or diy project space as well as some storage, and washer/dryer. (Owner occasionally accesses this space on maintenance visits and stores some items here as well - but this is not in your living space).
This is a cherished home in the history of our extended family and we will occasionally visit the separate upstairs unit and I will be there every month or two for a short maintenance visit - so I will run a full background check and thoroughly check references. I am looking for high character, stable, drama free, considerate resident(s) - all good honest open minded folks are welcome! __________Someone who is a little handy with things and can troubleshoot occasional small house maintenance issues is a plus and I would be interested in rent credits for some minor repairs/improvements/maintenance at the property. Help with some house upgrades and landscape/yard cleanup/beautification would be a real plus as well!
