This studio cottage is in a quiet, safe, rural neighborhood, but easy to get to. Owners live on the property, in another building.… Healthy remodeling materials were chosen, based on a previous renter with asthma. There is some gardening space in the private backyard, with fields and woods on most sides. Most visitors comment on how relaxing it is. The inside is minimalist, with built-in shelving and cupboards, hardwood floors, and newer appliances. There are stairs at both the front and back door, and sections of the building that aren't included in the apartment (Ex - back room stores unneeded furniture). There is a working farm cat on the property, so there's very few mice. Part-time usage is being offered at this time, not full time permanent usage. Some examples are as a business office, writing retreat, photo shoot spot, visiting professionals, etc. Primary goals are having good neighbors and maintaining the vintage building (not renting to live on the rental income, so it's a different dynamic). Location is easy to get to year around, spaced between Lake Michigan and South Bend, Indiana (Notre Dame), 5 miles from the Indiana/Michigan border, and about 7 miles from a South Shore pickup spot (Hudson Lake).
