This home is over 100+ years old and dates back to the Chicago prohibition days when Al Capone and his crew came to this very point to conduct their business on the Chain O' Lakes and get out of Chicago. It is rumor that the old Chicago gangsters themselves used this home to lodge and get out of the city and enjoy the lakes. There is a ton of history at this historic home several houses down from the historic Mineola Hotel, an old hotel now preserved and protected by the Illinois Historical Society. The whole house is remodeled, but there are still some original aspects of the house that remind you how old this historic home is, and we designed a history room for you to enjoy during your stay and look out over the lake.

Featuring rich, vintage-inspired decor, whiskey barrel accent pieces, and classic Prohibition-era styling, it creates a one-of-a-kind lounge experience that blends history, imagination, and lakefront luxury.
