Falls Church is an incorporated, independent city in Northern Virginia within close proximity to Washington, DC. According to the 2000 Census the City of Falls Church has a population of 11,169.
Although two metro stations are named after Falls Church, neither are technically inside the city limits. Even so they are both nearby and provide access to the Metro Orange and Blue lines. Washington D.C. is also easily accessible by car.
The City of Falls Church has a small town feel to it with two main streets running through the downtown area, which consists of shops and restaurants, surrounded by residential neighborhoods. Falls Church is also host to an annual Memorial Day Festival that features local military units, fire and police departments on parade. Rental and For Sale prices are about middle of the road for the Washington D.C. suburbs
