This small studio-house (no bedrooms) is a former vacation cottage believed to have been built in the 1930s.… The house sits on a hillside lot (it is not an in-law) and provides views of the hills of the west side of Fairfax. One can walk to downtown in five or so minutes though it is on a hill. It is the ideal residence for the person who values the quality of space over square footage. The house includes a deck, brick patio with garden, gas fireplace and washer/dryer. The bathroom was recently remodeled and the entire house has been repainted. There is some walk-in storage under the house. One off-street parking space comes with the house. Otherwise, parking on the street is very limited.
The house is available immediately. A $2,800 damage, rental and cleaning deposit and first month's rent are required to move in. The tenant is to pay all utilities. No smokers please.
