About the building

Hi! My name is Kristin. I discovered this amazing house in 2017 and turned it into a co - living space for roomates with flexible month to month terms. I set up this home specifically so that I could always return and occupy a room when I am in Denver: furnished it neutrally, set up super fast wifi, hired cleaning staff who would stock things like TP and soap, and made the rooms available to the larger community as a co-living space. The listed rate for the rooms are all-inclusive and cover the following: Rent for your room and your share of the commons All utilities including high-speed internet Housecleaning and disinfecting done for residents every day Cleaning and sterilization of your space for your move-in date House management staff who find and create solutions any time there is an issue All furnishings provided and a ton of amenities All basics stocked, inventoried, and covered ( like TP, dish soap, trash bags, etc ) I live here 6 months out of the year. When I am away the rooms are exclusively dedicated to coliving which starts with a 1 month commitment and then is open, you just give 30 days notice when you are ready to leave. But...most folks who come don't want to leave:) I really like the folks who live in the house, and I seem to be good at picking people because they seem to like each other, it's got a great, light energy to it. My staff will clean 6x/week the commons, but the cleaning is general, everyone still cleans up after themselves individually along the way in the kitchen and bathroom, and the space has become an easeful small community. I will visit every 6 months on avg and claim a room during a vacancy to meet the roomies in person and visit family. Safety Considerations: We are aware of what is happening in the world and have pooled our resources to provide a safe sanctuary during the rapidly shifting present-day state of the world~we are clean, respectful, friendly and value our privacy. This house is LGBTQ friendly, all genders are welcome. This house is welcoming of cannabis for personal use but all smoking must happen outdoors. We do not welcome cigarettes or alcohol on the property, and while we love our friends we do not invite them to the house but instead meet at one of the many cafes, museums or parks nearby. These rules are in place to keep the house secure, private and peaceful for all residents. Security and peace are important. We do not have pets roaming the house at this property, to accommodate current roomates who have or new roomates who may have allergies. Exception may be made for a cat in two of the largest rooms, kitty must stay in the room. This house is vape friendly, but only outside or in your room. This house is work-from-home friendly, all rooms have desks. AVAILABILTY: Room 2: Available now. This second floor room faces west and has has two big corner windows, a double sized bed, two big closets and a mini fridge. The rent for room 2 is $1200.00. This room is cat friendly! Room 5: Available Dec 1. This second floor room faces east, stays darker during the day and has its own attached, huge, private screened and furnished veranda! This part is important Please reply with a bit about yourself and how long you would like to stay. I want to know what your work is, hobbies and interests, roomate style etc. Do you cook alot? Do you sleep during the day? Do you work from home? You know, the important stuff that makes for good decisions on housewide mutual compatibility:)
