Howdy Y'all and welcome to Concan's #1 vacation rental, The Big Tex!… Located on Hole #1 of the Frio Valley Ranch Golf Course with Scenic Hill-Country views, and just 2 miles from the Frio River. Have endless fun with unmatched amenities including a Heated Pool, Hot Tub, Outdoor Movie Theatre, Pickleball, Basketball, Sand Volleyball, Fire Pit, BBQ, Playscape, GAME ROOM including a golf simulator, arcade, & poker table. All bedding, towels & essentials provided. Just arrive, relax, & have FUN! Sleeps up to 30 guests!
THE SPACE:
The Big Tex is the place to be when looking for the perfect spot to stay during your Hill Country retreat. Our home is located in a gated community and backs to the private golf course that our guests will have access to!
The home is comprised of three buildings that are semi attached featuring the Main House, and Casita (guest quarters) and Game Room. We also have an attached Outdoor Kitchen, and a 1500 sq ft covered patio so you can enjoy your days outside in the shade! All Bedrooms have their own private attached FULL bathrooms.

Things to Note PRIOR TO ARRIVAL:
KITCHEN:
Fully equipped with cookware, plateware, utensils etc. We do NOT provide cooking essentials such as oil, seasonings, aluminum foil etc. (Previous guests often leave behind cooking essentials, but we do not guarantee or inventory those items). We highly recommend guests bring their own essentials for the meals they plan to prepare.
BBQ GRILL:
There is a very nice charcoal/smoker available for guest use.
- Guests MUST bring their own charcoal and dispose of it appropriately (fully cooled down) and clean the grill before check-out.
FIRE PIT:
There is a fire pit available for your use. Guests must bring their own firewood and hatchet/axe.
POOL HEATING:
$150/DAY OF THE ENTIRE RESERVATION. Must notify the host a minimum 72 hours prior to arrival. (Upon Approval and Ability)

Parking: Please note that per our listing description this home can only fit 8 cars MAXIMUM in the driveway/parking area. There is NO overflow parking and the HOA does not allow any parking outside of the driveway. Please make sure to make arrangements to stay within this parking limit to avoid fines and/or towing.
