Cute, single-family home with AC on family ranch. Close to Ft Carson, 15 minutes to S Academy/Colorado Springs, new windows, new paint, new furnace, remodeled bathroom, dishwasher, washer and dryer, and large front porch. I pay for the water and trash and historical use of the electric bill, you would set up a direct bill account with the propane supplier. The perfect person would be able to help take care of our small group of horses and do basic ranch chores 3 or 4 days a week, PAID at a set rate depending on the activity but the range would be $15.65 to 20/hr equivalent. I would estimate that this could be as few as 8 hrs (morning and evening feeding) or up to 20 hours a week if you are open to helping. In order to help on the ranch, you would need to be able to lift more than 60 pounds into the back of the truck (hay bales can weigh around 75 pounds some years.) The ideal fit for us would be someone who has previously lived outside of the city and who has some handyman and horse skills. Good communication skills are a must, texting and email. Please note that we are also looking for local employment or verifiable income during the rental application process. Pets will be considered so please let me know what you have right up front. (Possible additional pet fees.) No smoking and due to farm animals and safety concerns at the ranch we are a drug free environment. I know that some of you reading this ad may be moving in the future to Colorado but this is not a situation I can hold the house vacant for a couple months. Thank you for reading to the end of my posting. :).
