From river access to National Monuments, wineries to golfing, this location has it all! About the space: you will be residing in the historic Bell House, former home of John and Bette Bell of Clarkdale fame. John was an area historian whose photos, artifacts and memorabilia are housed in the John Bell Museum, a boxcar mere blocks from the house at the Verde Canyon Railway Depot. The home has been painstakingly renovated with modern conveniences but care to retain the original feel and charm of its origins in 1915. The beautiful front porch overlooking the Clarkdale Town Park spans the whole front of the house. The large living/dining area boasts large windows for beautiful light. There is a dining table and chairs along with two seating areas set atop original wood flooring. The new full kitchen with gas stove, butcher block counters and dishwasher has plenty of storage and is ready for your home cooking. For days you'd rather eat out, there is a Mexican food restaurant and a brewery with daily food trucks both a short walk across the park. The master bedroom has a brand new queen mattress and a large closet as well as a generous-sized dresser for plenty of storage. Blackout curtains are included for late sleepers or night-shifters. The attached bath is tastefully done with tile reminiscent of the era it was built. With period photos and artwork throughout, the historic feel is complete. Come help us care for a piece of history!
