Private Rooms in Two Charlotte Homes, $800 to $1,200, Everything Included
Hey guys!… My husband and I own two homes in Charlotte and rent private furnished rooms in both. Everything is included, and rent runs $800 to $1,200 depending on the room and the bathroom setup.
The two homes
One is close in, between South End, South Park and Freedom Park, quick to uptown and less than a mile to the light rail.
The other is on the east side near UNCC and University City, easy to I-485, Concord and Harrisburg. Quieter, more space, easy parking. I use one room there as a daytime office, so the house is always looked after.
The rooms
From $800: a private furnished bedroom that shares a bathroom with one other person, ever. Not a line at the door in the morning.
Up to $1,200: a master bedroom with its own private bathroom, a huge closet, a private entrance, a deck, and a kitchenette with a mini fridge and microwave. About as close to having your own place as you can get without paying solo prices.
Included in the price
All utilities, fast fiber internet, washer and dryer, lawn care, trash, and maintenance. We keep coffee, paper products and detergents stocked. Keyless entry, furnished common spaces, fully equipped kitchen, off street parking. These are our homes, we invested in them, and we keep them in top shape.
Why it stays peaceful
Every resident passed the same background, eviction and credit check. Nobody smokes or vapes inside. No parties, and guests are limited, so you always know who is in your home. Dishes never sit in the sink, because cleaning up before you leave a shared space is the house standard, not a hope. Quiet is normal here at all hours, since people work different schedules.
If you just read that and felt relief, you are exactly who we built this for. If it sounds strict, we are probably not your place, and that is fine too.
What we ask
One person per room. Background, eviction and credit check on everyone. We prefer a 12 month lease because we want people ready to settle in, and our residents tend to stay. No pets, we have allergies. Flexible on the details for the right person.
