You share kitchen, living room, etc., plus an attached 2-car garage and an additional sun room at 250 sq ft, with 2 other roommates in this 3-bedroom house. COMMUTE: I have agreed with existing roommates (count:2), that I would only release the physical address for your on-site tour, AFTER you have completed the screening process and ON the day of your in-person tour. You could use "Springfield Dr & Marathon Dr, Campbell, CA" as an address. House is a 1-minute walking distance from this intersection. LOCATION: Campbell, CA. * Off a quiet street and within walking distance from Safeway (including a Starbucks Store with Wi-Fi) and Oakmont Village Grocery Store. The neighborhood is very safe. This house and adjacent houses are all owner-occupied. * Walking distance to San Tomas Expressway & Hamilton intersection, where Express Bus to Santa Clara, etc., has stations at * Less than 5-minute driving from 880/Hamilton exit and the Hamilton Light Rail stop. About 2 miles from eBay, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Downtown Campbell (where there is a Farmer's Market every Sunday), etc. * About 2.5 miles southeast of 280 and Saratoga exit (also the Mitsuwa Supermarket and Harker School). 2 miles to Westgate Mall where Target, Sprout's and AMC Movie Theater are. * VTA bus 330, 328, 101, 82, and 26 are in the very near vicinity, without your having to walk more than .25 mile. * Close to West Valley College (4 miles), San Jose City College (4 miles), De Anza College (6 miles), San Jose State University (8 miles), and Evergreen Valley College (14 miles). * In terms of proximity to Apple (company name) shuttle bus stops, house is either 1 mile west of, or 2 miles east of the nearest Apple shuttle bus stop. The 1-mile away location is a convenient, less traffic, residential walk. The 2-mile location is also a very straight-forward walk / run. * 3 miles to Valley Fair, where Google (company name) shuttle bus seems to stop, per Internet search of the Google bus maps. NEIGHBORHOOD: Very safe and residential. You would see bicycles sometimes. "San Tomas West" per Nextdoor definition. If you are into swimming or just relaxing by playing in the water, there is a private neighborhood pool less than 400 meters away (yes, walking distance) from the house. Annual membership or Guest Privilege is available. HOUSE: Furnished with essential pieces, this one-story house is very spacious (plus a size-able sun room) and has laminate wood or vinyl wood floor in all common areas, bathrooms, kitchen, etc.. It comes with attached 2-car garage, copper plumbing, attic insulation, small toaster oven -- you name it. There is 1 ceiling fan in dining room. No AC in house, as it's fairly chilled in summer. BEDROOM: See pictures. Furnished or un-furnished. Adding furniture pieces to your area will not incur additional cost, but I ask that you care for those pieces as if you had purchased them. Additional amenities: - Large attached sun room as additional storage, back patio yard - 2 spots on driveway; 2 existing roommates, 2 cars. So if you have a car, you park on the driveway 2 months out of every quarter. Free curb side parking in a very safe, quiet residential neighborhood - Garage (attached 2-car garage) for storage. Given that the 2-spot driveway is the only way which a car in garage may enter from, parking your car in garage on a daily basis doesn't seem to be a practical matter. You could park your car in garage, if you plan to be away for some days - Washer / dryer in garage - ATT (Internet wifi) and garbage fee included in rent (i.e., paid for by me). Information for prospective roommates: - Month-to-month lease is ok, if that is what you want. I could also code it as a 6- or 12-month lease in the contract - Split utilities including PG&E and water, with 2 other housemates. You should budget $100 per month before incremental heat or cooling due to individual's preferences. Right now, only 1 roommate is using a space heater in winter months (i.e., not presently) and is diligent on her share of the incremental electricity bill - Space is furnished, or unfurnished In Campbell. Borders Santa Clara, Saratoga, Cupertino, Los Gatos, and San Jose.
