Bedroom Lease Agreement for the rental of a private bedroom within the single-family residence located at: 1. Premises The Landlord hereby leases to the Tenant one (1) private bedroom located within the single-family residence at the address above. The bedroom is for the Tenant's exclusive use. 2. Shared Areas Tenant shall have shared access to the following common areas of the home: Kitchen Living Room First-floor Bathroom Tenant agrees to maintain these shared areas in a clean and orderly condition after use and to respect other occupants' use of the space. 3. Term The term of this Lease shall begin on ______________ (Start Date) and end on ______________ (End Date), a total period of one (1) year, unless extended or terminated earlier by mutual written agreement or as permitted under Maryland law. 4. Maintenance and Cleanliness Tenant shall maintain their private bedroom in clean and sanitary condition. Landlord may inspect the room with reasonable notice to ensure proper upkeep. Tenant must immediately report any maintenance or repair issues to the Landlord. 11. Termination and Renewal This Agreement terminates automatically at the end of the one-year term unless renewed in writing by both parties. Either party may terminate early only for cause or by mutual written consent, consistent with Maryland landlord-tenant law. 12. Governing Law This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland. 13.
