MOVE IN SEPT 1ST This standalone cottage is set above the main house with a separate driveway and parking for 2 cars. Photos show the unit furnished (though it is currently being rented unfurnished) with a queen bed, sofa, dining table, breakfast bar, full kitchen with gas stove and a bathroom with shower. Ample natural light and radiant heat floors warm the cozy studio. Views include redwood and madrone forest, ridge top chaparral, and floral gardens. Step out the front door for immediate access to Henry Cowell Fall Creek Unit and a broad network of hiking trails. We have two medium-sized dogs as well as outdoor barn cats and are open to ONE friendly, well-behaved dog or cat. Our property is fully fenced and our dogs roam around during the day so best if you enjoy canine friends. The 1.5 acre gated property is set at the end of quiet road with no public access or road noise. We are located: 15-20 min to Santa Cruz 12 min to Felton 20 min to Scotts Valley 12 min to north coast beaches Tenants have access to a separate driveway with parking for two vehicles and sole use of the studio cottage. You are welcome to enjoy the extensive gardens as well as fresh eggs from our hens. Garden space and extra storage can also be made available for the right fit. This is a peaceful, tight-knit community in the mountains. We are a family with a 7yr old and baby on the way; we enjoy surfing, mountain biking, camping, and cooking together. Lastly, mountain living can come with unforeseen weather-related impacts on electricity, road access and the like. We are equipped with a backup generator for power outages and would prefer a tenant or couple with experience in mountain living.
