Preference given for 12 month and longer leases. Owner pays property maintenance including yard care and all utilities. No smoking in house or on porches. Pets considered on individual basis with additional pet fee. This is a safe space. You will be surrounded by wonderful kind LGBTQIA and DEI-friendly neighbors. Almost every past tenant and guest has become a friend, many of whom stay in touch regularly. I highly value relationships and do everything possible to communicate directly and meet the needs of tenants/guests. In considering future tenants, I'm most-interested in finding a good fit for our overall community here vs just looking at credit scores on the application. Ideal tenant value personal responsibility and respectful direct communication. Bonus if you have an appreciation for quaint, quirky historic homes! Based on my past tenants, I seem to have a soft spot for travelers, wellness practitioners, teachers, entrepreneurs and also newcomers to WNC looking for a home base to decide where they want to settle more-permanently. Preference will be given to tenants desiring a private peaceful quiet environment with at least a 6-month lease.

The kitchen has a gas stove/oven, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, microwave, and all appliances. All floors except the kitchen are hardwood. The dining room is large and well-stocked with Fiestaware and Pampered Chef dishes. The home has recently been checked for energy efficiency.
