Just a half mile from downtown, it is a mature, scenic, residential area close to shopping, restaurants, and entertainment and was developed by the architects, engineers and craftspeople who built the "Biltmore". The original brick laid sidewalks are ideal for taking leisurely strolls to admire the architecture, visit with welcoming neighbors, or venture into town. The entire neighborhood boasts large trees and a park every couple of blocks, the closest of which is across the street and has tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts.

The whole city, including the River Arts District, downtown, the South Slope, East side, and "West Asheville" are a mere 3-7 minute drive from your accommodations.
