North Hollywood/Van Nuys area is also just about 1 hour away (45 minutes without traffic). This area is so overlooked and it is such a good deal given that all utilities and internet covered! Close to Almansor Park, 3-minute drive to grocery stores/restaurants on Valley Blvd. Also, it only takes 3 minutes to drive to (or 15 min. to walk to) the commercial strip on Main St, where you can access 99 Ranch Market, Smart & Final, Ross, Burlington, and a variety of good eats. Within 10 minutes, you can get to Costco & Target, or the shops & restaurants in San Gabriel. Within 10 minutes you can also get on the I-10 freeway. About 15-minute walking distance from bus 76 stop and ~13 minute walk to bus 78 stop, which get you to transit linkages in downtown LA (the subway in Union Station). Street parking only (pay around $70 annual overnight permit fee to the City of Alhambra)-- you must be willing to change your vehicle registration address to Alhambra in order to get the permit. Street parking is not difficult to find within 5--7 minute walking distance. Area is safe at night. Will need to apply via zillow or send application documents directly to landlord.
