I am looking for a female roommate to join our welcoming home in Alexandria, VA! Move-in is August 2026 with a lease through July 2027 (renewal option available). ~ The Space & Cost ~ - Rent: $1,279/month (includes all utilities and lawn service). - The Room: Unfurnished, ~150 sq ft with great natural light and a spacious closet. You'll share a bathroom and linen closet with one other roommate (a university student). ~ The House ~ Standalone home on a huge 0.39-acre lot. Gorgeous wood floors and tile throughout, full kitchen, lovely garden, and a welcoming backyard patio. Ample driveway and street parking. ~ Location & Transit ~ - Close to Van Dorn, Huntington, and Franconia/Springfield Metro Stations. Bus stop is directly across from Edison High School. - Minutes away from Rose Hill Shopping Center, Kingstowne, Old Town Alexandria, and major highways. ~ House Culture & About Us ~ You'll be sharing the house with two female roommates. I am a practicing Muslim professional who loves hiking, biking, gardening, cooking, and yoga. Our other roommate is an easygoing university student. We maintain a clean, friendly, smoke-free, and alcohol-free home. We love a community-minded atmosphere! We practice sustainable living (composting, recycling, rainwater gardening) and occasionally enjoy backyard BBQs, bonfires, or sharing meals. Whether you love to socialize or prefer to keep busy with your own routine, the main goal is mutual respect, cleanliness, and sharing house chores. ~ Ideal Roommate ~ - Clean, responsible, and relaxed female professional or student. - Respectful of a drug-free, smoke-free, and alcohol-free home environment. - Gatherings: Small gatherings are welcome, but we keep a quiet home and don't host big parties. - Pets: No dogs, cats, mice, or snakes, please. (I have pet birds and fish kept separately on the other side of the house).
